Thermoforming

During thermoforming, we manufacture products made of extruded plastic materials, by use of a mould. A thermoform mould can be produced and adjusted cost-efficiently. The advantage of this is that we can respond well to your specific wishes. Our machines are running 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. This ensures that our thermoform products can be delivered quickly, in medium and large quantities.

The main material for our thermoform products is the recyclable plastic polystyrene. M-plastics extrudes (recycled) polystyrene into foil, in its own extrusion department, where we can produce more than 20,000 kilos of foil every day. By keeping this vital step inhouse, and under wings of our quality control it enables us to process up to 100% recycled materials into foils and semi-finished products for the injection moulding machines, with a benchmark quality, whilst increasing our flexibility.

M-plastics is a green manufacturer with certified climate-neutral products

We are the first thermoformer with a full Cradle to Cradle Silver certification. The production of our total range has been made sustainable and CO2 neutral. Production- and punch scrap is collected by us and reused internally as much as possible.

Branding of your thermoform products

We can provide your plastic products with colours and/or your own brand. Branding with your brand colour is available for thermoform products, on the basis of a purchase contract and for larger volumes. Ask about the possibilities.

Transport trays Danish format

Standard one-way trays are made (in fixed sizes) of polystyrene (PS), to make the trays properly recyclable after use. M-plastics makes compatible trays (560 x 260 mm Danish format) and also collects used Normpack® trays. We convert this into regranulates that we subsequently process into new products.
