Smart tray replaces thousands of pots. Less plastic, greater efficiency

Together with a leading tree and shrub grower, we developed an innovative tray solution that simplifies production processes while significantly reducing environmental impact.

Instead of using traditional 9 cm square pots, the grower switched to a custom-designed injection-moulded tray incorporating a number of intelligent design features.

The result:
✔️ approximately 30 tonnes less plastic waste per year,,
✔️ faster processing and handling,,
✔️ educed storage and transport volume..

Following the successful first delivery tot he grower’s 130-hectare nursery, a second order soon followed. More recently, we delivered another full truckload of trays.

The grower has achieved clear efficiency gains, is highly satisfied with the product and now regards it as a permanent solution within the business. Feedback from his grower’s customers has also been extremely positive.
