New development in reusable trays

In anticipation of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), we are pleased to introduce our latest development.

Under the widely accepted interpretation of the legislation, the reuse of plastic transport packaging within the EU will become mandatory in many situations by 2030. For transport within a single country or within the same company, full reuse requirements may apply; in other situations, at least 40% of transport packaging will need to be reusable.

Our first step in response to these developments is a 400×280 reusable tray.

Made from durable polypropylene, the tray is available in virtually any colour. It can also be produced in your company colours, making identification and return logistics considerably easier.

There is also the option of manufacturing the tray form 100% recycled material. The tray has a 13 mm overflow and handles on the short side for easy handling.

Its intelligent, lightweight design makes it surprisingly cost-effective to purchase and use. We would be happy to prepare a customized calculation for your specific application.

Under normal operating conditions, the tray is suitable for a high number of rotations, resulting in a significant reduction in costs per use. This allows you to improve sustainability without a substantial increase in costs.

The tray is suitable for 12x 9 cm/9.5 cm, 8x 10 cm/10.5 cm/11 cm, and 6x 11 cm/12 cm/13 cm.

This gives the tray a wide range of applications and makes it highly efficiënt in use.

We believe this new tray offers a practical response to changing European packaging legislation.
